Hi, I’m Di Gillett. Founder of Power of Women, and Producer & Host of the Power of Women podcast.
I am many things. An entrepreneur, a workaholic who loves what they do, and a business woman with over 30 years’ experience as a headhunter.
I am also someone who likes to question things, a devotee of all things style & fashion and someone who is renowned for saying what they really think.
Often what I say is unfiltered, at times controversial, and don’t expect an apology if I offend!
Maybe it is the Aries Dragon, maybe it is my upbringing, and as I get older it is without doubt about confidence and self-belief.
Hopefully I have also been a role model and mentor to others along the way, and now as a podcaster, through the Power of Women I have the opportunity to mentor others through storytelling.
This is without doubt a culmination of my own rich lived experience and without question, my favourite creative and entrepreneurial pursuit to-date.

Another thing I vehemently challenge is the notion that women fade from view as we age.
On the contrary, I believe that life after 50 can be the most empowering phase for a woman.
Personally I have never been more visible, more forthright and more outspoken than I am now as a woman over 50….and loving it.
As the producer & host of the Power of Women podcast, I have the privilege to curate powerful narratives amplifying the rich-lived experiences of inspiring women around the world.
